I absolutely recommend the London Sash Window Company. From the first contact with Max, through to signing off with Costin today, it has been easy and pleasant. Preparatory work was thoughtful and I was fully engaged in how it would look.The fitters have been on time, the product is beautiful, the place has been left tidy and clean, and the price was comparable with much less attractive plastic windows. We experienced an exemplary, seamless, friendly service, from initial contact and estimate to detailed survey and fitting of one new sash window, and refurbishment of several others. We wish we had dealt with issues like draught-proofing years ago. The works were completed in the promised timeframe, all credit due to our highly experienced fitter who worked incredibly hard.

I’m really happy that I chose London Sash Window company on the recommendation of my parents. We replaced old single-glazed sash windows with heritage-style double-glazed sash windows and kept the original window frames, as they were in good condition. This saved us money and there was no need for council planning permission as we did not replace the window frames. Ann in the Sales department was fantastic and the reason we initially went ahead, knowledgeable and really listens to the customer. Max heading the installation team was also very customer orientated and it was reassuring to do the final survey details and contract with him. Lauren in the office was always on hand for any questions and on point with the paperwork. Both our jobs had Ryan as main installer and contact for us and he and the team did excellent work. We had our Edwardian sash windows refurbed by the London Sash Window Company recently and they were fantastic. From start to finish they made the process as stress free as possible. All the staff are knowledgeable and incredibly helpful and we are very happy with the results. We were kept informed of where we were at through the whole process and while the work was undertaken great care was taken to cause as little mess and disruption as possible. I really cannot recommend them highly enough.

London Sash Windows are an established, reputablec ompany who we chose due to their experience in fitting replacement wooden sashes to existing frames, and because they manufacture all their own windows and units. We had replacement sashes for our upstairs windows in our Victorian terrace house, plus a whoile box unit for the back bedroom. Downstairs, the lounge windows got new sashes and a refurb, and lastly mour bedroom window was completely replaced. We were visited by their design consultant who gave us plenty of choices and recommended the best approach. In all cases the quality of the materials was exceptional, and the results fully matching the original designs. The tradesmen we had were all unfailingly polite and efficient, and worked quickly and accurately without fuss and mess. Everything was covered in plastic and any remnants cleared away at the end without our having to ask. The quality of the work was excellent and swift - each room took only a day to complete. The windows came fully painted with all fittings, and are double-glazed to a high standard. We have noticed the improvement immediately in the elimination of draughts and condensation, and are cosy now in a way we haven't been since we moved in 20 years ago. Overall, I would recommend London Sash Windows without hesitation if you are looking for windows of a high standard, designed bespoke for your needs and hand-built to fit any space. The whole process has been painless and well worthwhile.

We have just finished a big house project undertaken by The London Sash Window Company. This was by no means inexpensive and so the level of customer care and satisfaction was paramount for us during the process. Initially, I met the Head of Clients at the Company during the quotation phase for our project - requiring the exchange of most of the single glazed sash windows in our house. I was really impressed by Ann. She was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly. Her expertise and warm demeanour made the experience a pleasure. It is clear that she values her clients and takes pride in her work. We then met Max, our job surveyor, who was impressive. He was ruthlessly efficient and precise in his assessment, leaving no room for error. Max’s commitment to ensuring that every detail was meticulously examined was outstanding. We felt confident in his expertise, and it greatly contributed to the overall success of our project. He was also pleasant to chat with and open to some friendly banter! I have just finished working with Costin and Ryan our fitters, alongside Danny, from the window company, and I couldn't be happier with their service. They were not only very friendly (which is incredibly important when they are in your private space on a daily basis) but also highly professional, and it was evident that they held themselves to high standards. Very pleased with the works from the London Sash window company. We had 6 windows installed and the quality of the windows and the looks are excellent. Communication was great, lead time much better than with other companies and the workers arrived promptly when scheduled and left everything clean. One thing to keep in mind that the window sills (outside) are not being done within their quotes, I had missed that so we will get that done separately. Would recommend and would use again in the future if any window work has to be done. Also, they don’t make things unnecessarily complicated. Another company wanted to install scaffolding but it wasn’t needed. You get certified security glass when you have low windows. All very professional. 5 stars. Thank you!

The London Sash Window Company replaced 3 bay window box sashes in wood for us. They did an excellent job from initial visit with Matthew, to comprehensive survey with Max and final installation by Matt. It was a tricky installation in such an old house but the windows look perfect! Matt arrived on time, worked with real precision and care and left everything neat and tidy. We wanted to preserve the Victorian character of the property so the outlay was well worth it. Other companies tried to push spring balance sashes and in my opinion an inferior product so we were really pleased we chose London Sash. Communication with Lauren in the office was excellent too. Very happy to recommend.

The London Sash Company came strongly recommended by friends re. their quality & cost. We asked a few window repair companies for quotes & London Sash were by far the most reasonable, prompt & professional in their response. They were extremely clear & fair in their assessment of what was needed and the work was completed on time and entirely satisfactorily. Where there were 1-2 snagging issues they made sure to address them until the job was perfect. Everyone we dealt with was friendly & helpful & Phil & Kestas who led on the repairs were brilliant. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending them to do your repairs.

Highly recommend this company who have just put in three new windows for us (two completely new, one in an existing box). The person who installed the windows was great - made a lot of effort to be as non-disruptive as possible. He explained every step he needed to take well, making sure we were involved in the decision making process. I'm really happy with the final product, noise from the street is so much less and the windows look great too!

I really rate London Sash Window Co. Used them in 2017 to service my sash windows and they did a really great job. I contacted them again in 2021 about a different issue with some casements and, to their credit, they looked at my pictures, advised on what what work was needed, and were honest with me that - although they could do it - other contractors might be better value for the nature of this work. They could have quite easily sold me their services and taken my money, but instead they took the time & effort to really assess what I needed and advise properly, to allow me to make an informed decision. I'm very grateful for that!

Very good place!

I opted for replacing just the sashes rather than the whole box frame following advice and I'm so pleased with the results. I no longer wake up thinking I've left a window open and don't wake up due to wind blowing in rattling sashes. Jack and Nadeem fitted the windows and were friendly, couteous and efficient. The work was completed ahead of time, and they were really helpful with their advice on how to renovate the existing architraving as well as information on maintaining and protecting the existing boxes and the new sashes. Count me as a very satisfied customer.

Having heard about our neighbours' experience when they had their new wooden sash windows installed we were a little worried about the impact on the house. Jack and Kestas however, went out of their way to make sure that they took the time and steps necessary to start and finish room by room and keep mess to a minimum. The windows themselves were installed quickly, too plan and are a great addition to a period house. The drafts have gone, but what I wasn't expecting is the reduction in noise, which in this part of London is lovely, far less aircraft noise.

Very knowledgable staff, with good eye for detail. Answered all the questions I hadn’t thought to ask and actually recommended a smaller job as our frames were in good order and we just needed new glazed sashes. A slight mix up on the order was quickly and effectively resolved, with the team ensuring that, when they were done, we had exactly what we wanted. And we love our new windows. They look very smart.

The London Sash Window Company are fantastic. We had 6 new double-glazed sash windows fitted, blinds and plantation shutters in late 2017. I was immediately comfortable when I met Ann Horan in sales- she is very knowledgable (which contrasted completely with some of the other companies we had met with). The windows are pricey - but of excellent quality and you get what you pay for. The fitters were friendly, tidy and worked very quickly with minimal disruption. All round, a very positive experience!

Really professional, good value for money and great level of service, and very clean and tidy. Our Edwardian windows were a challenging lot, some are set in reveals, some in splayed windows, and then there was our plantation shutters which all needed to be accommodated. All in all, couldn't fault them.

Kieran, who manages the installations, has a very high attention to detail, is very professional and has a laudable pride in the finished job. At every point this company exceeded my expectations. Our new windows look stunning. Simon, my initial contact, was able to copy the original windows' sash horns. I also think he gave me good advice, urging me to choose full sash weights, rather than spring balances (which often break), referring to the latter as 'the devil's work'. London Sash do a very full job; they are tidy, even putting down plastic adhesive sheets on the stair carpet. I also found them polite, patient and very helpful whilst scheduling their visits, working around our other building works. I highly recommend this company. Worth every penny!!
